hello again....jeeezzzz its been soo long since i last wrote a blog.
well i am here now! :) and ready to spill the beans about this past week.
this week i started KICKBOXING, SWIMMING, AND SHAM.
swimming is intense i feel like the teacher is trying to make us into mini micheal phelps' and its gross he swims in his spedo!!! but i had fun in class. i learned how to work my core in the WATER! how cool is that? we had to do warm up, group warm up excercise, air exchange/strenthening core interval, and another building core interval. that one was hard becase we had to do laps with only one hand and breathe on opposite sides that we swam with!! but it was nice to be in the pool again i hope i get a tan!!!
kickboxing was CRAZY intense. the teacher lady is really cool!! and shes nice but shes super toned and she works us hard. i realized i signed myself up for intermediate/advanced so that was a plesant surprise. :) but its not too bad i learned alot and we trained alot and i felt like my limbs were going to fall off...not to mention i was embarassed because i was sweating buckets!! sooo grosssss.
the work with sham this week as ok. i made two "new friends" as he calls them. they are two weights 10 lbs. each. fuuunnnnn. yesterday was particularly hard but it was nice to hear his comments afterwards. he told me that i was gettin better at recovery, which means my lungs and body is get stronger and can handle more work, which means i am doing really well with my training!! :)
i also got my first weight results back this week and i was kind of disapointed. but after we talked about it, it all made sense. I lost a few pounds in pure body fat, all of my bmi%s went down! :) and i lost a total of 6.5 inches. i feelll sooo much better. i have more energy, i fit better into clothes, i have more confidence. i cant wait til i go to see the thyroid doctor and see what they tell me...and im excited to lose more! wish me luck!!
